from 205 reviewsGrateful for Bucklebury!! They don’t make me nauseous like other brands. Great product.
This silver will get you straight! I’ve accomplished so much on silver. It keeps me winning everyday and this product is loaded with it, just like me
Very pleased with calming effect in throat.
Highly recommend! The customer service is also top notch!
I tried this to help with sleep quality, and I am surprisingly impressed. Now, I would not say that if you take the specified dosage, it will knock you out for hours, or even that it will make you tired on its own. But if you are making an effort to improve our sleep hygiene and are open to relaxing gradually and making this a part of a nighttime ritual, then I do think this can help. It has helped me. It helps calm my body so that I can get to sleep more easily now.
I started taking this product because my doctor recommended it for better sleep.
Since taking it, my sleep has improved gradually.
I used to wake up halfway through the night, and I could not get back to sleep for a while.
Little by little, my sleep duration improved.
Now, I sleep longer before waking up and sometimes I sleep all through the night.
I feel so much more rested!
This is a fantastic magnesium supplement! It has an effective dose of magnesium glycinate along with a solid dose of L-theanine at 200mg per serving. 200mg of L-theanine is the dose I would recommend to most people. Personally, when I take L-theanine I take 200-400mg. When taking L-theanine for its synergistic effect with caffeine I take a 2:1 ratio of L-theanine to caffeine. This supplement is good to take either during the day or at night. Both magnesium glycinate and L-theanine can provide some mild relaxation that's free from any sedation, so it should be fine to take whenever works best for you. Magnesium glycinate is about 86% glycine by weight, so you're also getting a significant dose of glycine with this. Glycine is great for sleep quality and falling asleep. So if I had to pick one time that's best to take this it would be a few hours before bed. Overall this is a great choice if you're looking for a magnesium supplement!
I’ve been taking magnesium glycinate for some time now. It may be a placebo, but I feel it helps me get a better nights sleep. I am able to fall asleep faster, and I wake up feeling refreshed. I’m the type that can stay in bed and hit the snooze all day, I don’t when I take this supplement, so I think my body is clearly lacking something that is in these pills. It also helps me with my overall mood support. I am less likely to have temper tantrums for no apparent reason. I feel calm and well balanced. Is it the pills? Unsure, but they definitely don’t hurt anything. Easy to swallow. No negative side effects.
I absolutely adore these and will most likely be getting more. The pills are super easy to swallow and you get enough for 2 months. They are super easy to go down with some extra water. I haven't detected any flavor or aftertaste with them. They do what they say they do and I super like that. will be getting again.
Brain boost, a cognitive blend. Easy to swallow, no aftertaste. Interesting blend of helpful brain supplements. Good company! I recommend these Brain Boost Supplements, I would give as gift, repurchase.
I'm not going to say much about why you should take these, there is a ton of data oit there that you probably saw if you're reading this.
These are great, easy to swallow, exactly the dosage i was looking for, no gas, easy to swallow, neutral odor and taste.
Can't ask for a better blend. 💪
Slept much better "right out of the gate."
Seriously! First night of taking these. I have enjoyed a falling asleep faster, and have STAYED asleep (the most important for me). Have felt better rested upon rising in each morning since. Also, more calm throughout the day.
Where have these been???
Bucklebury Magnesium Capsules are a somewhat unusual magnesium supplement. The capsules contain magnesium bi-glicynate, but it also has black pepper to increase absorption and L-Theanine to increase calmness. The bottle says the magnesium is fully chelated, which may be why you have to take 3 capsules to get the nominal dose of 350 mg. Chelation is the process of adding of chemically bonding the magnesium to other materials, usually organic, to increase bio-availability.
I found this supplement to work perfectly fine, no aftertaste, no reaction.
I like this as a sleep aid because it has a highly bioavailable form of magnesium and l-tgeanine as well which usually helps with relaxation. The price is good, too. Definitely better than if you were to go buy each of them by themselves. It was pretty hard to find a form of this that wasn’t magnesium oxide in supplement form but I think this one does it well. Overall it’s a good choice!
I've spent many hours researching magnesium supplements and their differences to greater understand what type(s) were best for my body and well-being. What I discovered is that Magnesium tends to be a top mineral that most people are deficient in. And it is essential for numerous bodily systems to work properly, including digestion and the brain. Magnesium is also necessary to bind with other vital minerals such as calcium and VIT D for bone health, along with many others. These minerals work synergistically together, as in needing each other to optimize the bodily functions.
My research pointed me to elemental magnesium glycinate and L-Theanine as the best forms to take as they are easiest to digest and most absorbable, meaning your body can absorb more of it than most other forms of magnesium.
The L-Theanine is noted to be most helpful for people with brain issues such as memory, stress/anxiety, mood, clarity and focus. So when I saw this combo in elemental form, I was quite intrigued. FYI - There are many games that supplement companies play with marketing magnesium. So you must read the label closely to avoid being duped and paying for a 'blend' of magnesium's, which typically contain mostly the lower-cheaper magnesium forms.
Magnesium in elemental form is the best and most absorbable form you can get. And this company put the top two magnesium forms in one bottle. While I really like that, I prefer taking no more than two capsules before bed, that works best for me. With this brand the recommended dosage is 3 capsules. It's not necessarily a game changer, but is only a 30-day supply. However, if you take two capsules per day like I do it lasts 45 days, making it a better value.
I also learned to start taking magnesium supplements slowly, taking less than the recommended dosage to allow my bodily systems to process it. However, many people can handle more in the beginning than others. And this brand has the top forms of magnesium in it that are known to cause minimal digestive upset, if any.
At any rate, this is a wonderful supplement that can do so much good for the body. The price seems fair for what it can do. However, I don't understand why they add black pepper extract in it and would like very much to know why. I typically only see this ingredient added to turmeric supplements to be able to digest it. The sellers listing does not address the reason or benefit of adding it, which is why I deducted one star. All ingredients should list their benefits.

Short answer, yes. In most cases, if you take too much magnesium you will know it quickly as you find yourself sitting on the toilet with loose stools.
